As I drink my Sailor Jerry and Coke I remember, Sailor Jerry Has a rat rod... To my knowledge, no other rum company has a such a cool car (ok maybe Tortuga's truck comes close?).
Choose your rum wisely!

What I wouldn't give for a rum and coke right now. Apparently this hospital I'm in doesn't serve booze. I should have gone to one of the catholic hospitals instead. Live and learn.

I have. If I remember correctly one of those car magazines determined chicks dig the rat rod, bros dig the Lam-bro-ghini. That's how I learned they have a rat rod.

Yeah that was these guys.....On this very video lol. The chicks all wanted to sit in the sailor jerry car while the guys all wanted to be in the lambo. Which makes sense since the sailor jerry car is fun to look at/sit in but is absolutely terrible to drive and constantly exploded while the aventador is good for over 200 mph at any time of the day.

I'll have an extra one for you. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to play more GT6 while rinking my fourth rum and coke. Drinking and driving is fun when there are no consequences!

I think I'd take the rat rod though... More character. Ideally, though, I would make my own rat rod to my specifications.

I would take *a* rat rod, but not *that* rat rod.
I always thought it would be fun to take something like the 3.4L GM crate V6 or an old 4.3L out of a truck for a project like this. They can sound good and be patina'd and ratted out with valve covers to look like crap, but they have a nice torque curve while being robust and easy to drive. They are also much easier to fit and keep cool. Here's one installed in an old MGB. If you have a small or midsized cruiser, why not use something like this?

I get where you're going. But Chevy small blocks are a dime a dozen and have more aftermarket support... I think GM made a hot rod of some sort using an Ecotec 4 cylinder a while ago. Probably just to showcase the potential of the Ecotec engine. I definitely appreciate being different, but I would still probably just go with a SBC.

I love the external sun visor with the lightening holes.
